PCWEA Awarded An Education Grant

Our organization has been awwarded a PADEP Educational Grant to conduct four educational workshops. The workshops will target a wide range of ages and interests from older youths (12 to 18-years old) to businesses, churches, and residents living along the many miles of streams in the watershed.

We are in the planning process. We will be providing more information about the grant and the workshops in the near future. An outline of the workshops can be found on our Events page.

The goals of PCWEA are to address watershed problems such as erosion and flooding, protect and enhance watershed resources, and to facilitate practical, hands-on education. Educational goals are focused on an understanding of the environment, and of conservation and environmental stewardship roles of watershed stakeholders, secondary school and local college/university students.
