PCWEA has a Tree Nursery where we grow young samplings for ultimate use in planting riparian buffers, rain gardens, and other conservation plantings. It is located in Susquehanna Township, Shutt Mill Park, and can provide small quantities of trees to groups or individuals wishing to plant trees in the Paxton Creek Watershed. We may also be able to provide saplings for conservation projects outside of our watershed.
To apply to receive saplings, please download our Application Form. Complete the form and 1) mail it to our postal address, listed on the bottom of the form; or 2) use our Contact Us Form to upload the PDF file. Saplings and some woodies are available at no charge for conservation efforts.
Remember maintenance is essential to ensuring that trees survive and improve our environment. Planting trees goes far beyond a one time planting event. PLEASE maintain the trees you plant. Open and download our tree maintenance PDF.
If you would like to communicate with us about getting saplings or woodies, please use our contact form .
